In Hong Kong

Noah’s Ark an inspiration for the battlers (South China Morning Post; Page C4, March 19, 2009: A new Bible-based themed site in Ma Wan Park (Hong Kong) is providing inspiration to people down on their luck. One of them is a recovered cancer patient who lost 80per cent of her wealth in the financial crisis………..”Hong Kong is facing a financial tsunami that has flooded the world, but we have a Noah’s Ark which symbolizes our rebirth.”

The world is going through a financial crisis that is unprecedented. People are losing jobs. Billions of investment dollars have gone down the drain. People are now in fear of their livelihood. However, as long as we remain in God’s grace we still have hope. Noah’s ark is not only a symbol of hope and protection, but of God’s love and mercy.

God's Blessings

In my travels and meeting many people, I noticed many generational blessings. I have a very close friend in Australia who has a very godly and prayerful mum, but he hardly dwells into the things of God. Yet today he is a very prosperous and blessed guy as a result of his parents' faithfulness.

I have noticed this with my 2 brother-in-laws who aren't into the things of God but are very blessed as a result of the generational blessings passed down from their parents and grandparents. I believe their parents had also committed them to God's hand by prayer when they had wondered away from God. In response, God had always been faithful to His word and showered their descendants with His grace.

When we serve God, honor God and tithe, the blessings transcends down many generations. But this is no excuse for us not to be close to God, as each generation has to know God and embrace Him personally. God has no grandchildren! We are all His children and He is ABBA Father to us all.
