God's Hand on Malaysia

As I read the Star yesterday and the IGP Musa's vision for the Police Force, I could not but see God's hand there. Clearly the IGP is trying to make changes for the better. Evidently, he has been eradicating a lot of illegal businesses etc over the past months. The appointment of Christopher Wan as Commissioner has seen unprecendented arrests and clearing out many illegal activities.

I believe all these are a result of prayer. God puts god-fearing people in these positions, people who may not be Christians, but who fear a Higher Being, and whose hearts yearn for righteousness.

Likewise with the Iskandar Development Region, I believe its God's Hand. No PM, be it Dr.M, Anwar or the currrent PM can change policies overnight. The affirmative policies that favors Bumiputeras cannot be rid of overnight. Hence, when Tan Sri Musa Hitam said that this new economic region should do away with Bumi affirmative policies (30% Bumi equity etc), it was a step in the right direction that God is driving.

In communist China, decades back it was hard to drive the economy given that communist party officials had vested interest in the local areas they headed. The premier, Deng Xiaopeng initiated the Shenzen Economic Zone without restrictive policies. Its success and policies then spread across to the rest of China as people saw that the cake grew bigger for all without such restrictive policies.

I believe the Iskandar Development Region will set a drive to change the whole country for the better. It will show the Bumi's that without the 30% Bumi equity participation and other affirmative policies favoring them, the cake is bigger and all of us, and all of us will win.

Let us continue to pray for Malaysia and its leaders in government to lead the nation with wisdom and that Malaysia be an economic powerhouse in the region.

THE SCHEMES OF MEN

I will follow Your ways O Lord
Guard me from the schemes of men.

I will follow what is right O God
Keep away from the wrong.

For men below are devious
They adulterate products and bribe
They care not the health of the masses
But desire in short term gain.

I place my trust in You O God
O guard my heart from their ways.

In You alone I trust,
Not the schemes of men.

You will show them Your ways
You will expose their schemes,
Though Your ways are slower,
But it is everlasting.
I trust in You and will not be found wanting.

For in You alone I rest
You are my portion, my inheritance.

On Your right hand are the length of days
On Your left hand are honor and riches .
Nailed for me on the cross.
The scheme of God for all.

7 prophetic directives for 2007

This is a prophecy from Patricia King of www.extremeprophetic.com. Find that after nearly 3 months of 2007, some of the below are going to take place.

Prophetic insight is given by the Lord so that we will understand His heart, desires, perspectives and promises for the future. When embraced in prayer and faith, we will see the fulfillment of those promises in our lives. Like Mary, we will say, "Be it done unto me according to Your word." (Luke 1:38).and like her, we will experience the same results - fulfillment of prophecy.

1. A YEAR OF SUCCESS AND FRUITFULNESS

In 2007, the Lord is looking for those who will invest their "talents" wisely. It is a year to DREAM BIG. It is a year of bringing forth fruit for the Lord and His Kingdom through the wise investment of the gifts He has given.

In the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30), the master praised the servants who took the initiative to invest what they had been given but was angry with the one who buried his one talent. Jesus said that this parable describes the Kingdom (verse 14).

The Lord is calling His people to make investments of their gifts on behalf of the Kingdom. There will be success and fruitfulness for those who do.

2007 is a year to invest much as there will be great dividends for the glory of God. "You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on all your ways."

Job 22:28 NLT Psalm 20:4; Deut 28:8,12; Genesis 1:28; John 15:7

2. CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE

2007 is going to meet us with great change. The face of the church is going to change drastically. Political changes and shifts await us. Individuals will be called to make changes in their lives to facilitate the call of God.

Some will even be called to make geographical changes. Many believers will have unexpected changes in vocation. Some students at university level will suddenly feel to change their majors even after they have invested many months and years in a particular direction.

It is vital in 2007 that believers seek the Lord for confirmation during the stirrings that call for change. The Lord will confirm clearly.

Great flexibility and grace will be required to move into the change that God is ordaining. New levels of dependency on God will need to be embraced during these times of transition.

PROPHETIC SIGNS OF CHANGE

Many will experience a phenomenon of finding "change" (coins) in unique places -- sometimes on the walkway in front of them or in drawers or on the floor beneath them. This will be quickened to the heart as a "prophetic sign" confirming the season of change.

Another sign will be the appearance of butterflies. The butterfly comes forth as a result of metamorphosis (change). The increased and unusual appearances of butterflies will be a confirmation of the season of change. Another sign will be changes in weather patterns and unexpected winds in regions that are marked for change.

3. A YEAR OF COVENANT BLESSING

Abraham was blessed by God and called to be a blessing so that all the nations would be blessed. This is our calling in the Kingdom - to live in the blessings of God in Christ, so that the testimony of Christ's glory and love spreads.

Christians will be called by the Spirit in 2007 to establish boundaries around their lives where ONLY BLESSINGS will prevail. When attacks, assaults, and trials come, they will be turned into blessings as believers stand their ground on covenant promises.

Blessings will become the protective border and the covering of believer's lives that embrace this.

Eph 1:3; 2 Peter 1:2-4; Gen 1:28; Gen 12:2,3; Ps 103:1-5; Deut 28:1-13; Numbers 6:23-26

4. EARTH SHAKING CATASTROPHES

There will be some catastrophes in 2007 that will cause people to respond in fear. Believers are not to fear but to rather embrace the situations, allowing them to usher in revival and harvest.

The church will be launched into mercy and compassion ministry when these catastrophes occur. Calls to prayer during these events will also be used to unite the Body.

Hebrews 12:26-29; Matthew 24:6.7

5. WALKING ON WATER

The Lord is calling His church to move in the supernatural. Many will be called out of the "boat of comfort" into "arenas of risk" in 2007.

It is important to keep the focus on Jesus and His Word alone during these times. The Holy Spirit will teach the church the importance of living in the supernatural empowerment Christ has invested in us through His indwelling presence.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths."

(Proverbs 3:5,6) Matthew 14:28-31

6. BIBLE FAITH WILL BE CHALLENGED

The church must remain strong in intercession in 2007 as foundations of faith and Bible absolutes will be challenged by political and humanistic spirits in Christian nations.

God will raise up spokespeople who will be a voice for uncompromised truth in the nations. These ones will suffer persecution both in the world and in the church for their righteous stands. A separation will come in the church between those who are fully committed to Bible truth and those who compromise.

Psalms 1 and 2

7. GOD'S MEDIA ARMY IS EMERGING

Many Christians will experience the call into media in 2007. The Lord is raising up an army in the area of television, radio, entertainment, internet and print media.

These warriors will be powerfully used of God to spread the gospel and to creatively build faith in the masses. "The Lord gives the word, and a great army brings the good news" Psalm 68:11

Sitting on God

As I reflected on the ways of men in the market place, I am really baffled.

More specifically, being in the healthcare market doing the right thing can be frustrating.

The Lord opened the door for me to supply health supplements to an MLM company. There were two (2) types of products that I supplied – (1).Mens’ virility product; (2) weight loss.

My herbal products were unadulterated and worked slowly, over weeks and months. Competitive MLM companies had products that enhanced mens’ virility and erection instantly, and lost weight instantly.

I knew competitors’ adulterated their products with pharmaceutical drugs like sildenafil (Viagra) in their herbal products for mens’ virility. The MOH don't seem to act at all even knowing the products exist. Some enforcement officers even resign as if they don't take bribes, they were threatened.

I face an uphill battle as I have to educate distributors. They can understand but how about their potential clients who are taking herbal products that works in 40 minutes versus my product that takes weeks. But I committed it to the Lord and let him do the rest.

Likewise with weight loss products, many companies were banned by the health ministry as they were adding in antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs like sibutramine and fenfluramine (causing death).

We stick to what is right for the Lord is our portion and our inheritance. When we have Him we are not short of anything.

I believe that every right implies a responsibility; every opportunity, an obligation; every possession, a duty. (J.D.R)

I now see it O God, what You have entrusted me with (products and businesses), comes with responsibility. You own the products O God, not me. I am just a custodian. I will guard my heart and not adulterate Your products O God. Now I just trust You O God and leave the competitors to you.

Our own unique calling

I was sitting on the Lord and thanked Him for the impartation from the various men and women of God that I have sat under - Ps.Ben, sister May Ling, Ps.Joshua, Ps.Vernon, brother Patrick and sister Sharon.

When I reflect back, whomever I was learning under, I thought the world of them. Sometimes even admiring the man of God rather than God. I even lost my own identity. I even thought I wanted to go for fulltime ministry one day (I am sure my friends that I told will one day laugh over it with me!!!). When I had learn the lessons on prosperity by Ps.Joshua, I had the impression it was everything. I went to share with my sisters who did not heed much, but God still prospered them just the same (in fact all 3 of them even doing better than me).

When I was learning under Ps.Vernon (Lifeline), I went to encourage my friends and sisters that you must move in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. And when they didn't respond, I thought they were practicing a less powerful kind of Christianity. I was praying for healing and prophesizing like a loud cymbal, but they practised much more practical love.

Now I am being to understand the our uniqueness. God is doing a unique work around the world today. Besides raising up anointed pastors, He is also raising up Josephs throughout the world like you and me. Some of us are still in the "pit" stage of their pilgrimage, while others are heading toward productiveness (thank God I am getting out of the pit after all these years).

It takes years of preparation and testing to be a true Joseph. It takes what the psalmist says in Psalm 105:17. He called down famine on the land and destroyed all their supplies of food; and he sent a man before them - Joseph, sold as a slave. They bruised his feet with shackles, his neck was put in irons, till what he foretold came to pass, till the word of the Lord proved him true. The king sent and released him, the ruler of peoples set him free (Psalm 105:16-20).

A true Joseph is one who is a provider both spiritually and materially for those in the Body of Christ. It is a person who understands that he is simply a manager of all that God has entrusted to him. It is a person who has humility and a broken and contrite heart before God.

Josephs of today are prepared through their own versions of bruised feet, and their own period of imprisonment (a very painful experience!!!). It is through the adversity of failed finance and business, personal life and broken dreams. These are the things God uses to allow the Josephs of our day to be proven by the Word of the Lord. Once refined and proven, God brings them out of their prisons and uses them mightily for His purposes.

Joseph went through his own trials - not because of any failure, but because of his calling: to save and provide for an entire nation. God had to prepare this man with 13 years of broken dreams and humble circumstances in order to break every ounce of pride and self-will. God could not afford to have a 30-year-old steeped in arrogance and pride running an entire nation.

This is happening nationwide in Malaysia (and worldwide). God is raising up these servants to prepare for a worldwide economic earthquake and to fund a global harvest of souls. GOD IS DEFINITELY DOING SOMETHING TODAY!

Therefore be yourself and hear from God what He wants you to do. In these last days, I believe God has already developed the people for the 5-fold ministry. God also realize that there is a need to develop the ordinary believers' ministry in the workplace. I am now rest assured I need not emulate any of my mentors' ministry.
