More blessings and happiness

Some one sent an email to me and it had the caption below:

May your troubles be less
Your blessings be more
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door

Yes, how I yearn for this too. There is so much hustle and bustle in our lives that we all could do with a little less trouble, and definitely less stress. But all glory to God, he is always there to protect and bless His sheep.

Yes, may more happiness come through our doors, but even if we had set backs and moments of sadness, His grace is always present.

The Sovereign Lord

As I ponder, there are aspects of my business that are not the way I wanted it to be. Likewise, many things in my personal life that had not turned out the way I had dreamt or prayed over the years till now. Sometimes I must admit I get bitter with God and struggle in my predicament. But like Job I choose to stay in His grace, revere Him, fear Him and walk in obedience. For in all circumstances, good or bad, the Lord Almighty is Sovereign whatever the outcome.

Flourishing times

"The righteous shall flourish like palm tree. He shall grow like cedar in Lebanon. Those planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing." Psalms 92:12-14.

How exciting! It is my time to flourish. Yes we will flourish in every aspect of our lives. I am going to claim it. Amen.

Psalms 63:3

Psalms 63:3 says that God's loving kindness is better than life.

I sometimes find it hard to perceive this, as there is so much good things in life and there is nothing wrong with them. But as I reflect, good things in life too can turn sour or just be temporal. Only God's love is permanent. And sometimes, a good thing that you have may not be the best that God wants for you. The GOOD can also often be the enemy of the BEST!
