Get away from the mulititude

Ps.Charles Breakfast Prayer, 13/8/07 at Grace Assembly, PJ.

"You must leave the multitude to reach your altitude" said Ps.Charles.

"So it was, as the multitude pressed about him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the lake Gennesaret, and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fisherman had gone from them and were washing their nets. He then got into one of their boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And he sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. when he had stopped speaking, he said to Simon, "launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch." But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing, nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net." And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish and their nets were breaking." (Luke 5:1-6).

God wants you to shine out from the multitude in these last days. To get God's distinctive blessings for you individually, you must leave the multitudes. We need to leave the multitudes of disappointments, failures and hurts.

If you are in depression or in despair, do not give up and don't go and wash your nets as Simon did. Let Jesus enter into your boat, and into your problem. That is the key as the month of August is the month of visitation. Yes, in the month of August, Jesus will visit your business, your career and workplace.

God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). Notice that it was daytime when Jesus asked Simon to lower his net. A professional fisherman will tell you you fish during the night, and not the day. But nevertheless at Jesus' word we must act accordingly even if it does not make sense. That may be the key for you to leave the multitude!
