Making Changes

The Bible says "Faith without works is dead" (James 2:26)

With Merdeka celebrations closing, the churches of Malaysia are now organizing prayers for the nation. NECF has organized a 40 day pray&fast. We all yearn for justice; equality; eradication of corruption, cronyism and racism. The Lord too desires changes to take place.

But when I had asked many Christians, most are not even registered to vote, and have never voted in their lives. How on earth is God going to put in god-fearing people in positions of power when the righteous in Christ mostly don't vote?

We need not be the majority, as Daniel rose to be the Prime Minister in both the Babylonian (Nebochudnazzer) and Medo-Persian (King Darius & Cyrus) empires. Joseph was the only one in the Egypt and he too rose be the Prime Minister in the most powerful nation of that day. And both of them made a positive impact in a nation where they were not the majority.

Therefore, besides praying, I encourage you all to register yourselves with the Election Commission and vote in god-fearing people who wants justice. They may be Indian, Chinese or Malay, but desire justice & equality, wanting to wipe out corruption, and know that there is a Greater-being in heaven looking down.

All the prayer without works is also dead! To find out how to register to vote go to www.spr.gov.my.
