Autoimmune Disease: Crohn's Disease
Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis mirror each other in that they both involve ulceration of the colon and extreme bleeding. Ulcerative colitis is confined however to the colon, but Crohn's diseases though primarily in the colon can be found at the esophagus and ileum.
Crohn's disease occurs because the white blood cells decide the lining of the colon is an enemy. God created white blood cells to attack enemies and not ourselves. It has gone deviant. The spiritual implications are incredible in that, as we attack ourselves spiritually, the body eventually agrees and starts attacking itself in destruction.
The root behind Crohn's disease is extreme self-rejection coupled with guilt. It comes out of massive rejection, abandonment, lack of self-esteem and/or drivenness to meet the expectations of another.
