Remember this when you sign your cheque!
There is only one true God, just like we only have one true biological mother and one true biological father. There can be many god-parents, foster parents, but we only have one set of true biological parents.
Likewise there is only one true God! Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one goes to the Father but through me". Either it is the truth or a lie. There is no in between. Jesus was here as everyday we sign a cheque we testify to that. Today is 15, May ,2008 AD(after death), because 2008 years ago, 5 months and 15 days ago Jesus was here. So what Jesus said is either the truth or the biggest lie in the world. There is no in between. Either you parents are your biological parents or they are not. There is no in between.
Likewise, if you have kids, then your kids are truly from your genes or they are not. If they are adopted, no matter how much you love them, they are not your biological offspring.
Think about it! Why not call this year 5303 instead of 2008? It is because Jesus was here 15 days, 5 months and 2008 years ago!
