This coming July

Joshua 6:1-5, "Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days. And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”

The month of July is the month for breakthrough. Jericho represents the world and Israel the church. A lot of God's promises to us will materialize in July. Perhaps nothing came through in January, then again it was the same in February, March, April, May and June.

Just like the Israelites had to march around for 6 days and nothing happened, we had to persist for the last 6 month. Jericho (7 alphabets) had not fallen to us and was securely shut up (verse 1). We could not possess our destiny as the devil had put up all sort of barriers to shut us out. Friends, just persist and keep on praising Him as Paul and Silas did inside the prison, as God will intervene and open up prison gates.

All that has been promised to us may seem securely shut, but surely with each month or each march around Jericho, each barrier is crumbling down.

Just praise Him in July. Praising Him is the key to your Jericho crumbling down. All gates will have to open before the Lord, the Lord of host.

Psalms 24:7-10.
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
The LORD mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The LORD of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah
