Pray for The Nation (5)
I read that in Kelantan, there are severe penalties for anyone caught trying to share the gospel with Muslims. Likewise in other states there are similar penalties. But there are no reciprocal penalties for a person sharing the Quran with a non-Muslim.
This just shows that the Muslim authorities is scared of the Truth, which is the Word of God. They are scared of its power. But there is nothing they can do. Hallelujah! The gospel has to be preached to every soul before Jesus returns.
I challenge those in authority to be open and find out what the gospel of Jesus Christ is all about. They don't even bother to find out and honestly examine the gospel, but just erect and redefine their prejudices in one way or another.
If a religion, whether it is Buddhism, Islam or whatever, cannot stand up to other "truths", it is literally worth nothing. A teaching that is wary and afraid of the Truths in another teaching cannot be solid. Only way is to prevent the subjects from being exposed to it.
Mohammad acknowledged that the Jews are indeed the chosen ones of God, but they messed up so God chose the Christians (sadly many Christians believe that too). Mohammad then took it further and said that the Christians too messed up and so God sent the Prophet Mohammad with the final message and chose the Muslims to inherit God's blessings. Inherent to the transfer of blessings , is transfer of the Holy Land (Jerusalem) to the Muslims. Initially it belonged to the Jews, then with destruction of Israel by the Romans, it came under Christian rule in the form of the Byzantine empire and the European Crusaders later.
The first place the Muslims went to conquer was the Holy land and indeed they conquered it through Saladdin and occupied it for centuries and it played out to what Mohammad had preached in securing the promise of God's Holy Land,.......till British forces took over Jerusalem somewhere in 1911.
In 1947, the state of Israel was reinstated and the whole Muslim world went berserk. Why? I know but won't state it here!. But ooops what Mohammad claimed is suddenly no longer true. They do not possess the inheritance of the Holy Land anymore. It now belongs to the Jews, and apparently it does coz they are there even as of today. That is why 37 out of 40 Muslim nations refuse to recognize Israel. If you can't get rid off it, just pretend it is not there.
The whole gist is that we cannot live in denial and not facing up to the truth, be it any aspect of life. I pray not to divide the nation, but for all to have freedom of religion and the right to examine all TRUTHS for themselves individually.

Pray for The Nation (4)
Without proper justice, Malaysia will be amok.
People who siphon millions and billions of Ringgit from GLCs will be acquitted; murderers will be unpunished; corrupted officials remain in power to drain the nation.
Is this the Malaysia we want? I am sure not, but there is little we can do but pray!

Return of the prodigal son
This book written by a Catholic priest is a reflection of the painting by Rembrandt. He reflects on the painter's life and his own wrt to the painting.
He reflected how at times he has been either the Father, the prodigal son and the brother. Quite an interesting read!

Pray for The Nation (3)
From fungus-hit hospitals, leaking government buildings to cracked highways and unusable schools, disaster after disaster has plagued us.
Now they are charging us RM2 to use the SMART Tunnel. This was a government project to alleviate the flood problem in KL. It was funded by taxpayers money from the 8th Malaysian Plan at the cost of RM1.9 billion. It was never a privatization project whereby a company had to take a loan or use internal funds to build the Smart Tunnel.
There are 2 eyes up there looking from heaven. I pray that ordinary Malaysians like myself will not have to be burdened with unnecessary expenses. I pray for those in authority to love the people and to serve the people. In the end, all the wealth we accumulate stands for nothing before God. Wrongfully gained wealth is detestable in His eyes.

Pray for The Nation (2)
I pray that the Ministry of Finance will carefully use the nation's money. Pray against corruption as in Malaysia there is too much wastage of resources. Corruption weakens a nation.
If a person in authority truly fears God (Allah or Jehovah), then he or she will think twice about how to handle our money. Pray that those who approve loans are also accountable, and not get a kickback and then write-off the loan.
In the end, all have to face God for their actions. With God-given authority comes responsibility and accountability to the nation and to God. Those in authority reading this, you all have a conscience. Be honest to your conscience as you are answerable to God.

Pray for The Nation (1)
We must pray for Malaysia our beloved nation and especially for our Prime Minister that he will rule and run the country with God-given wisdom. I am sure it is not easy as there are so many vested interest groups to appease etc.
I personally believe the current PM is a good man, and is trying his best (If someone tells me that AAB is corrupt, I don't believe; but if you tell me a certain former PM was corrupt, that I believe). However, pray that he is able to control his people and those around him, as it is they who are creating the problems, corrupt etc.
Pray that God grant him favor with other countries and able to bring the country forward.

Full Yoido Church
Just finished reading the last of the half dozen books I bought during my visit to Ps.Cho Yonggi’s church in 2004 (Other books I bought were: The Great Businessman; How To Pray; The 4th Dimension; How can I be Healed). My favorite read out of all his books is one entitled “Daniel – Insight on the life & dreams of the prophet from Babylon” which is an exposition of the Book of Daniel.
Below is a report I did on the trip back in 2004.
It was a maiden trip to Korea for a lot of us, and for some it was the first time in experiencing what God has done in South Korea. The nation is widely regarded as a Christian country with 14 million Christians in a population of over 40 million inhabitants, and over 5,000 souls are added to God’s kingdom each day in South Korea. God has clearly established this nation to be a spiritual influence and outreach to its neighbors – Japan, North Korea and China.
The world’s largest church
Our first visit began with Friday all-night prayer meeting in Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul located near the Han River. The whole stadium with a seating capacity of over 12,000 was full even before the service began. The church began humbly in 1958 in the aftermath of the Korean War which devastated the country. Overcoming all odds and obstacles, the Holy Spirit guided Pastor David Cho and built this mega-church with global mission outreach, a social welfare town, having 2 universities and a theological institute under its wings. It also owns the Kukmin daily which is a daily secular newspaper but with a section for the gospel.
As of the year 2002, Yoido Full Gospel Church had a membership of over 840,000 members. Current statistics include 600 pastors, 1500 elders and around 20,000 home cell leaders. SIMPLY GINORMOUS! That is not all. We were taken on a tour of their premises in downtown Seoul. The main sanctuary is in a building on its own. It is roughly the size of Stadium Negara. Each Sunday it holds seven services and if you are 15 minutes early, you are LATE! and you won't be able to get a seat.
Along the same strip is four other buildings owned by the Yoido Full Gospel Church. A 13 storey building is totally dedicated to Sunday school. AMAZING! An adjacent building houses the Kukmin daily, while other buildings are offices for its wide-ranging ministries such as World Mission Center, Church Growth International and David Cho Evangelistic Ministries. A sixth building, a high storey apartment block was previously owned by the church, but now the individual units have been given to its various pastoral staff. All these on prime real estate land. It is as if RLC owns 5 buildings along Jalan Sultan Ismail. JUST IMAGINE! If the Lord can do it for the Koreans, He can do it for us too. Amen to that!!! Jalan 221 isn’t too far being off being Lorong RLC, he! he!
International Fasting Prayer Mountain
We stayed in Osanri Choi Ja-shil Memorial Fasting Prayer Mountain for 3 nights which is an hour’s drive north of Seoul. This place is another ministry of Yoido Full Gospel Church. Over 200 individual prayer grottoes are available and it has several chapels with services everyday. More grottoes are currently being built as well as chapels and additional lodging facilities. Thousands of Christians have fasted and prayed there since it was founded in 1973, and the spiritual atmosphere is simply awesome. One can sense the presence of the Holy Spirit immensely and it is easy to enter the spiritual realm rapidly.
Each night, all 78 of us from RLC would meet to worship the Lord and Pastor Joshua will share God’s word with us. Then each of us took turns to share our individual testimonies. The moments of fellowship were very warm, touching and really brought us together as a loving family. In the mornings we broke up into groups of seven to eight people to pray for each other, for RLC, for Pastor Joshua and his family, the RLC staff, the unification of Korea and also for Malaysia and our leaders.
Fervency of prayers
One thing we noticed was that the Koreans are real mighty prayer warriors. They pray deep and long prayers. It is through such prayers that South Korea has become an economic power in Asia after the ruins following the Korean War. It is also these fervent prayers that are keeping any imminent North Korean attacks at bay.
Many poorer Koreans with ailments and other needs camped in the main chapel for weeks, having only bare essentials with them such as a pillow and a mat. They were there to cry out to the Lord. Many will fast and pray, and will not leave until the Lord has answered their prayer or healed them.
Indeed, prayer is essential to our spiritual being in as much as breathing is to our human life. This is what a lot of us take back with us. We now have a deeper revelation of the need and importance of prayer. I now find it such a joy to pray each morning whereas previously it was a struggle. Praise God! I now enjoy being in His presence and just want to savor each intimate moment with Him. I can now feel His love much deeper and feel His presence more tangibly.
The cemetery
On our last night a small group of us went to a hilltop on the adjacent Christian cemetery. In the night a lot of Koreans usually cry out to the Lord there. We went there to simply worship and praise the Lord. We sat in a circle and sang and sang love songs to Jesus; we worshipped Him with songs as the Spirit led and rejoiced in Him in our hearts. It was such a magical moment that no words could ever describe. We tasted heaven.
Then the Lord appeared in a glory of light in the midst of us. He was in a white gown and was pleased with us. Immediately we could nothing but just kneel down before Him. We cried, praised and thanked the Lord Jesus as tears flowed down our faces. It was so beautiful. He even distributed gifts to us individually.
As we gather may Your Spirit dwell within us
As we gather may we glorify Your name
Knowing well that as our hearts began to worship
We’ll be blessed because we came,
We’ll be blessed because we came.
Earlier we had sung these words, that “we’ll be blessed because we came”. We came to Korea to seek the Lord in a greater way. We went to hilltop with no shopping list, but just to praise Him. And as we gathered, He showered us with His love, and we were truly blessed because we came.

Benson Idahosa
Archbishop Benson Idahosa was a man greatly used by God in his generation. He was born in 1938. When he started his ministry, only 4% of Nigerians were Christians. When he passed away in 1998, 51% were Christians. He faced may persecutions from the govt, the then predominant Muslims, friends and Christians. But each time God promoted him.
Millions of people were ushered into the Kingdom of God through his multifaceted ministries and churches. God used Archbishop Idahosa to root out the worship of idols and graven images and to destroy the powers of witch craft and satanic worship in Africa and in Nigeria in particular.
Benson Idahosa was a man approved by God through the countless signs and wonders that accompanied his ministry. He was used by God to raise 28 people from the dead. During his mass crusade that attracted crowds of over one million people in a single service, the lost were saved, blind eyes were opened, crippled walked, deaf ears were opened, and people with diverse sicknesses and diseases were healed through the anointing of God that was upon his life.
Archbishop Idahosa was a man of faith. Every thing he accomplished for God was done by FAITH. Every project he embarked upon in most cases was started without money in view, yet he saw the completion of those projects through the divine provision of God.
Archbishop Idahosa was the founder of Church of God Mission International, Inc. based in Benin City, Nigeria. Archbishop Benson Idahosa pioneered the establishment of over 5,000 churches in Nigeria, Africa. He was the founder of All Nations For Christ Bible Institute, Benin City, Nigeria, Benson Idahosa University, Faith Medical Center in Nigeria President of Idahosa World Outreach, and President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN).

Parts of a prophecy given by Ramona Loudon :http://www.carpenterstouch.org/10Keys.html
....concerns the “kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our God.” Nations are to be discipled. The sheep nations and goat nations will be separated. It is time for entire nations to come to the Lord. It is time for the nations of the world to be discipled, baptized and brought into the kingdom.
Mat 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
Mat 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
Mat 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Earlier I wrote:
I had the privileged to listen to a chosen vessel of God, Pastor Daniel Ezra. He shared;
“THE EARTH is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it, the world and they who dwell in it” (Psalms24: 1). This year marks 50th year of our independence, 50th being the Year of Jubilee.
In the Year of Jubilee the field shall return to him of whom it was bought, to him the land belonged (Lev 27:24). This year God is taking back Malaysia. Amen!
The EARTH belongs to the Lord. Malaysia belongs to God and in this Year of Jubilee marked by our 50th Merdeka, God has come to take Malaysia back. We must all intercede for the nation, for our leaders and the prime minister.

May 13 and the Cross
Just finished reading this book. It is quite a dry read. You can buy this book in Popular bookstore. Besides just reading this book we should ponder the spiritual implications behind May 13 and beyond. When it happened I was only 4 months old. Guess the situation could have been worse, as in the Bible, King Herod and the Egyptian Pharaoh killed all male babies (Matthew 2:3; Exodus 1:22).
There are many race and religious conflicts in this world, not just Malaysia. For instance, the Arab-Jews-Palestinian conflict. There is a cycle of revenge after revenge but where does it end. We need to forgive each other for reconciliation to take place.
But how do we forgive? The answer is on the cross of Jesus Christ. He paid the price for all so that we can forgive. It is true that other religions may have no element of forgiveness, but we must follow the example Jesus gave us.
God used Mikhael Gorbachev ( a communist leader) to tear down the walls of communism in USSR. He used Frederick DeKlerk ( a white man) to rid apartheid in South Africa. It is always someone from within the system that God use to make changes. Likewise, I believe if the political landscape in Malaysia is to change for the better, it must come from within the Malay fraternity. Moses himself was an Egyptian prince. If Malay leaders begin to pray for God's mercy and revival, we will witness miracles after miracles as God will act in all His might and power.

Now in the month of June...
After attending Ps.Charles Popson's prayer meet 7,6,2007.
Luke 1:26 " Now in the 6th month...God sent the angel Gabriel...to a virgin....name was Mary....Greetings, you who are highly favoured..."
Now in this month of June, we are highly favored. When God is willing to bless or to do something He will send someone, perhaps not an angel but an agent (i.e. a friend). When God wanted to deliver the Israelites out of Egypt He sent Moses. He will always send someone.
God's favor supersedes our labor ( I can bear testimony to this). Notice in Luke 1:26, the angel Gabriel knew Mary's name. God knows your name. He knows your situation, knows your problems and thus knows your needs. But pray that God cleanses us of any iniquities that may disqualify us form receiving His favor (nb. the angel was sent to virgin Mary - denoting purity before God).
Read Esther 2:15. Ps.Charles said that the more we dwell in the presence of God, the more favor of God we will have. Esther had no background, no parents, no godparents, and yet she had the favor of everyone around her (Esther2:15). The KJV said that Esther obtained favor in that verse. The favor of God can be obtained by having the presence of God. Amen! Praise God for giving Ps.Charles that message.

God Has Not Finished With You
This book by Rev.Charles Popson is a great encouragement to me. When things seem barren, don’t give up, as God has not finished with us.
God’s delay is not God’s denial. God has not finished with us. God had shut Hannah’s womb for a purpose (1 Sam 1: 5). If it is the Lord that has shut up your womb; be it your financial womb, business womb, child-bearing etc, rejoice as there is a great future ahead of you. There is a divine purpose. Just praise God that we are pregnant with a Samuel, for that is the reason why the birth is delayed. Peninnah had many children but all her children put together were not equal to a great dependable man of God – Samuel in Israel (Isa 54:1).
The book is published by Cooray’s House of Publications Sdn.Bhd (Tel 03-4270 3722) or catch Ps.Charles leading prayer at Grace Assembly (PJ) every week at 8pm, Thursday.

Justice & God
Men can say they do justice. They may decree their judgment on cases like Lina Joy and cases to come like that of the Mongolian model Atalunya. But it is God's final judgment that counts. His word is always final, not the words of judges, ministers, friends or relatives. Jesus already has the victory, and even the Quran says it is Jesus who will come back in the last days.
Pray that God will instill the fear of God in the people in authority an dpower. In the end, they will all be judged by Him and have to face God and be judged. If they have the fear of God, they will not fear men and not seek approval of men, and be fair. If a country does not have a fair judicial system, the country will not be strong.
Psalms 58:
Do you rulers indeed speak justly?
Do you judge uprightly among men?
No, in your heart you devise injustice,
and your hand mete out violence on the earth.
Even from birth the wicked go astray;
from the womb they are wayward and speak lies.
Their venom is like the venom of the snake,
like that of a cobra that has stopped its ears,
that will not heed the tune of the charmer,
however skillful the enchanter will be.
Break the teeth in their mouths O God;
tear out, O Lord the fangs of the lions!
Let them vanish like water that flows away;
when they draw their bow, let their arrows be blunted.
Like a slug melting away as it moves along,
like a stillborn child, may they not see the sun.
Before your pots can feel the heat of thorns -
whether they be green or dry- the wicked will be swept away.
The righteous will be glad when they are avenged,
when they bathe their feet in the blood of the wicked.
Then men will say,"surely the righteous are still rewarded;
surely there is a God who judges the earth."
People in position can make judgments. Pray for the fear of God in them.
They owe it to their own conscience. It is they who will have to face God in the end with regards to any abuse of power or position. If I were a judge or minister, I will make decisions that I am at peace with my conscience (and providing that it is not seared).
There surely is a God who will judge all of us in the end.
Pray that God will instill the fear of God in the people in authority an dpower. In the end, they will all be judged by Him and have to face God and be judged. If they have the fear of God, they will not fear men and not seek approval of men, and be fair. If a country does not have a fair judicial system, the country will not be strong.

when they draw their bow, let their arrows be blunted.
Then men will say,"surely the righteous are still rewarded;
surely there is a God who judges the earth."
